Your healthy weight journey starts with awareness and desire. It consists of two stages:

  • Release (lose) weight to achieve your healthy goal weight

  • Adjust your routine to maintain a healthy weight on an ongoing basis.

No matter where you are in this journey, hypnotherapy can help.

Much of our eating and exercise behavior is managed by our subconscious minds which have been conditioned by parents, teachers, childhood experiences, and the media. Your attitude and mindset toward your weight may be significant factors holding you back from releasing unhealthy weight. Maybe your living situation is difficult. Maybe you need to change from a stressful job. In hypnotherapy, we strengthen motivation, relieve stress, and update mindset to better serve you as you make the behavior changes that will lead to successfully achieving and maintaining your healthy weight goal.

Hypnotherapy helps with healthy weight management by changing your subconscious view of your weight. We all have a vision in our minds of what we look like. It may or may not be realistic. In weight management hypnotherapy, we work to change that subconscious view to your goal view. We also work to change your ideas about what you need to do to manage your weight and we find a weight loss plan that will fit with your lifestyle.

You choose an eating plan that will be best for you. We work out an exercise program specifically for you. Exercise is an integral part of weight management. Maybe it’s walking several days a week, maybe it’s using the trainer you’ve already paid for at the gym. We work together to figure out what works for you.

Once we have established an eating plan and an exercise plan, in each subsequent session we discuss what is and what is not working for you.  As needed, we make adjustments in your plans while monitoring your progress toward your goal.

At goal, we celebrate the new you and then continue your journey by adjusting your mindset, eating, and exercise plan to maintain a healthy weight on an ongoing basis.
